Welcome to Old West Futurities & Horse Sales (“Old West,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website, purchasing tickets, entering competitions, or participating in sales, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
Event Participation
Entry into Old West events is subject to entry deadlines, eligibility requirements, and fees published on our website and official entry forms.
All competitors must follow the ARHFA rules and Old West event rules.
Old West reserves the right to deny or revoke entries at its discretion.
Ticket Sales
Tickets may be purchased online or at the event venue.
All ticket sales are final unless otherwise specified. Refunds are not available for unused or lost tickets.
If an event is postponed or canceled, Old West will issue information regarding rescheduling or credits.
Stall Reservations
Stalls must be reserved in advance and are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis unless otherwise noted for sponsor privileges.
Premium and sponsor stalls are reserved for Elite and Platinum partners.
Stall assignments and maps are managed by the event facility and sent prior to check-in.
Horse Sales
All horses are sold “as is, where is” with no guarantees or warranties expressed or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Buyers are strongly encouraged to conduct independent veterinary exams prior to bidding.
Radiographs/X-rays are available for purchase under the terms outlined on our website. By purchasing access, you acknowledge that X-rays may be viewed by multiple parties.
All sales are final at the fall of the hammer, and buyers assume responsibility for transport and post-sale care.
Million Dollar Bonus & Incentives
Horses purchased through an Old West Sale are eligible for the $1,000,000 Bonus when they meet the outlined futurity requirements.
Side pots, incentives, and payouts are subject to the rules published in the official event documentation.
Old West reserves the right to update or modify incentive structures at any time.
Sponsorships
Sponsorship benefits, recognition, and obligations are defined in the sponsorship packets provided to each partner.
Sponsorship packages are non-transferable and must be renewed annually to maintain status.
Old West reserves the right to modify sponsor recognition methods (arena banners, digital displays, etc.) to preserve the professional presentation of the event.
Media & Livestream
Events may be photographed, filmed, and broadcast via livestream. By attending or participating, you consent to the use of your likeness, name, and performance for promotional, marketing, or broadcast purposes.
Unauthorized recording, rebroadcasting, or redistribution of livestream footage is prohibited.
Intellectual Property
All logos, graphics, videos, photos, and written content on the Old West website and app are the property of Old West and may not be copied, used, or reproduced without permission.
Limitation of Liability
Participation in equine activities involves inherent risks. Old West is not liable for injury, death, or property damage that may occur during events, consistent with state equine activity laws.
By attending or participating, you assume all risks and agree to hold Old West harmless from any claims or damages.
Website & App Use
Users must not misuse the website, app, or online platforms. This includes unauthorized access, attempts to disrupt services, or inappropriate use of content.
Subscriptions to the Old West+ app are subject to separate terms provided at the time of purchase.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
